iGATE Clinical Research

iGATE Clinical Research was one of the first clinical trials management companies to establish operations in India, and has since become an award-winning CRO with a substantial track record in conducting ICH-GCP compliant clinical research.

Over the past ten years, iGATE Clinical Research has managed over 70 clinical trials for global sponsors in a broad range of therapeutic areas and has undergone over 40 CQA audits by North American and European biopharmaceutical companies.

iGATE CR provides complete range of Phase II to IV clinical trial support services.

iGATE CR was formed by the combination of two clinical research companies, one in Pittsburgh, PA, and the other in Mumbai, India. The Pittsburgh-based company, Pittsburgh Clinical Research Network (PCRN), was a research site services provider established in 1997 and wholly owned by the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

In India, the Mumbai-based company, DiagnoSearch, began as a central laboratory, quickly expanding to become a full-service contract research organization focusing exclusively on ICH-GCP clinical trials.

In 2003 PCRN and DiagnoSearch were acquired by iGATE Corporation (NASDAQ: IGTE) to anchor its life sciences division. As a leader in business process outsourcing services and information technology solutions, iGATE's vision was to extend the unique advantages of India to the clinical research and development market. Today, iGATE is ranked as one of the leading CROs in India and has received international recognition by the pharmaceutical industry for excellence in clinical trials management. More global clients rely on iGATE CR every day due to the high quality of service, responsiveness and cost-effectiveness.
