Vimta Labs headquatered at Hyderabad is an India contract research organization (CRO) based out of Hyderabad. Founded in 1991, it is one of the oldest CROs in India.

Vimta specializes in phase I to IV human clinical trials, including drug testing.

The company ahs a vision statement to be among the top 10 global research and Contract Company by 2010.

In 1993, Vimta was the first Indian CRO to go public and be listed on the stock exchanges.

In 2003, Vimta became the first Indian CRO to have its bioequivalence (BE) study data accepted by the US FDA
